How to Rstore Your Appetite for God

Restoration is not about trying harder, but about realigning your heart and environment.

  1. Return to God Honestly
    • Don’t pretend be real.
    • What to do:
      • Tell God exactly where you are
      • Admit the dryness of lack of hunger
    • Simple prayer:
      • “Father, I don’t feel hungry for you right now but I want to be. Restore me.”
  2. Start Small but Be Consistent
    • You don’t need intensity you need consistency.
    • What to do:
      • Set 10-15 minutes daily with God
      • Build gradually instead of overwhelming yourself
  3. Remove or Reduce Distractions
    • What feeds your flesh will starve your spirit.
    • What to do:
      • Limit social media, noise and unnecessary input
      • Create quiet space for God
  4. Reignite Through Worship
    • Worship softens and awakens your heart.
    • What to do:
      • Play worship music and engage, not just listen
      • Sit in God’s presence without rushing
  5. Pray for Hunger (Even Without Feeling It)
    • Hunger can be asked for and activated.
    • Prayer:
      • “Lord, give me a desire for You that overrides everything else.”
