Oh, What a Beautiful Thing

The beautiful thing about God is that He never asks you to clean yourself up before coming to Him. He simply asks you to come as you are.

• I personally struggled with this for a while, I wanted to take the step to get baptized but every time I thought about it I kept saying, when I have done more, when I have changed more of my ways, when I’ve read the whole Bible. I was living in a stronghold that I had built myself that I wasn’t clean enough to make that step.
• It took me a while to break that strong hold, what I called God-shots helped me with that. While doing bible study I would deep dive start connecting with certain scriptures more finding more meaning and understanding. I have posted a few of my God-shots here. But one day one just clicked for me, and it was the same day that I got on my phone and registered to be baptized at my church.
• These moment when I felt like I wasn’t ready, wasn’t good enough where keeping me where the devil wanted me. He wanted my questioning my worth, stuck in a circle of unmoving.
• Break the strongholds that are holding you back, talk to the people you have surrounded yourself with who are yoked the same as you. Find something that helps you work through the things holding you in place from taking your next faith step. Because it is one step at a time that builds us, shapes us, molds us, down the path that God has for us.
