Experiences

Many people reject Jesus because of bad experiences with religious people.

But, here’s the thing… Jesus had bad experiences with religious people, too.

In fact, they killed him. People will let you down.

Jesus won’t.

• Sometimes I find it very sad that to think that they’re our people who call them self believers in Christ but are the same people that chase others away from freedom. Though I know God sees them and knows their true nature, I pray that this was the reality we live in.
• We are called to be kind, love, forgive, show all His testimony through us, that person who left the church because of a bad experience has a testimony, if he is allowing God into his heart to change it, he is His testimony too.
• I pray for and to all of the people who have ever had those experiences,
  • Lord, I pray that the person seeking you, keeps trying, that they walk into a different church every Sunday until they are welcomed with opened arms. I pray they continue to look up at you father and know that you love them in all of their flaws and mistakes, that they don’t away away from you. That they walk away from the people that make them feel shame, that places wasn’t meant for them, but there is a place for them just keep looking, searching, attending. No one’s judgments have nothing on them for only your judgment matters. That they may define themself how you define them Lord. In Jesus Name, Amen.
