This season is suppose to be about growing in my faith. Building myself up, not dating, definitely no dating apps, but what happens when that person comes into your life that you’re not expecting. One thing doesn’t matter if I like them If a person comes into my life, I pray “if this person is not meant for me please close that door.” 9/10 that door closes on its own, this one though keeps making it past that prayer.
—so here’s another,
—God if I’m not going to marry him please don’t let me catch feelings. Please give me discernment and wisdom to navigate what I’m feeling. If I am going to marry him please don’t let my feelings cloud my judgment or compromise the covenant. And God…If I fall in love with what I’ve heard, let it be because his words edify my spirit and mirror you words.
———lets face it the dating in this world sucks, and its only getting worse and worse, I have had no want learn someone’s favorite color or teach them mine. But then he just slides himself into my life, and my feelings again. And I read this quote today that led me to posting.
“Yes, I’m afraid of falling in love.”
“Okay?”
“You make me feel like I’m on top of the world and thats a very long way to fall.”
—-I chose to put it in God’s hands though because he has the plan for my life, and if it’s not meant to be he’ll close that door and show me another way.
