(And myself as well)
“I pray God REMOVES everyone in your life who secretly gossips about you, puts you down, doesn’t want to see you win and REPLACE them with people who genuinely support you and want to see you happy and blessed!”
—Being around people who are yoked the same as you is important. Being able to open up and share what you are going through without feeling like it will come back to bite you it’s important. You can talk to a wild snake all day long, but given the opportunity it’s still gonna bite, it’s their nature.
2 CORINTHIANS 6:14 – “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?”
—The truth is though it’s not just “unbleivers” Many people do not truly understand that who we associate with is the thing that either promotes us or hinders us from our potential in Christ.
PROVERBS 13:20 – “He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed.”
—walking away, cutting ties doesn’t have to be nasty, because again let me try not to beat a dead horse here, but we are called to treat everyone with kindness. You can explain the situation, your feelings, but you can’t control their reactions sometimes those people will never truly understand, Some will truly never let go of what ever kind of relationship you had. And sometimes you will become the villain in their story. But thats their story not yours and you don’t need to defend your story because the only person who needs to know already knows everything.
