The Daily Breadcrumb

”The Bible is meant to be bread for daily use, not cake for special occasions.”

Ever fill personally attacked.

Oh, have you ever been reading a post while scrolling, and it hits you deeper than you thought it was going to?? It’s been one of those days, I’ve been personally attacked by a post. LOL wanted to share these to post with you.

—“My therapist told me: ‘ When a person grows up feeling unseen, they learn to love by over-giving. They pour into everyone else, hoping that, one day, someone will finally pour back into them. So they become the care taker. The fixer, The one who shows up, even when no one shows up for them.’ And the hardest part? Deep down, they’re not trying to be strong. They’re just waiting for someone to do for them what they’ve spent their whole life doing for everyone else.”

—“Dear Little Me, I’m sorry. You went through so much, and no one gave you the words for it, You thought staying quiet made you good. You thought being helpful would finally make you loved. You thought if you kept everyone happy, someone would notice when you were hurting. I know you just wanted to be held. To be chosen. To matter. I see you now. I hear you. And I’m not going to abandon you the way others did. We’re safe now. I’ve got you. Love, Me”

I have come a long way in my life, from the person I used to be, not only am I looking out for my self and my healing but I know God is always standing right there with me now, that I can hand the pain over to him. I know he’s never gonna leave me, and that he loves me. I know he has taken all the pain and used it to shape me into the person that I am today and still becoming.

The things is some of these just hit a little harder on days, but I know thats why you can’t be lead by your feelings, they are always changing, always unpredictable.

I hope we all find our path in life, with God, but our path in general to healing the wounds in our life. That with each day we wake up we chose to do better, be better.
