The less traveled path.

This image has stayed in my mind each and everyday since I fist encountered it.

Each and every day I find my self feeling that I am being pulled to the less traveled path in my faith. Sometimes it seems scary and can be lonely at times, but also beautiful in so many ways.

—“God isolated you because your path is different. You can’t follow the crowd.”

A lot has changed in my life, and I am so thankful for the place I am right now, and I know that the path is taking me somewhere even better. My ex-husband once told me while going through our divorce, “You see that’s the thing you promised God you’d change your heart, and I never promised him that, he knew who he was getting when I accepted him.” That broke my heart even more, because for I pray for him every single day that God will work on his heart in what ever way he seems fit. The thing is you have to allow God into your life to allow him to make the change. If you don’t and you have decided you’re not going to allow the change, to soften your heart you’ll never find the freedom in God.
