The Daily Breadcrumb

”The Bible is meant to be bread for daily use, not cake for special occasions.”

A Different Season

If you’re not religious, or new, or seasoned in your faith. Somewhere along the line you are going to hear, “different season of life” or something along those lines. This season has been a new one for me, so many things have changed and I have started to view this season, some may say lonely, as a place of growth. I prayed hard for God to open the doors that would keep me on the path he has planned for me, and close the doors that aren’t meant for me when looking for a new job. Never in a million years did I think I would find myself traveling the country with a small group of co-workers. He has opened up my small world, where I worked to live like many other people in this world, living paycheck to paycheck, only dreaming of visiting a place. Always thinking it would be nice to be able to go on vacation or visit here and there. And now I am here. But not only did this job give me that its given me much more then I could have imagined.

—its given me the time to set aside for myself in general, taking me away from other people, that I would do everything for to make happy, when I was never getting in return. It’s a season of finding myself

— it’s given me the time to set aside for God, I’m praying more, Bible studying more, blogging, bible journaling more. Things that sometimes got put on the back burner between work and sleep repeat. It’s a season of Growing in God’s grace

—I get to experience different church’s throughout the country, I am thankful to have a wonderful home based church that I love, but I also am blessed that the church is part of a bigger group with church’s all across the country, and even out of the country. It’s a season of connection

Though this season is just starting I’m so thankful to get to be here. To experience it. Though some days I slip and things don’t get done. Each and everyday that I wake up is a day to do better, to work more on myself. I hope to share a lot on this blog, not only my growth in Faith, but the blessings I see each and every day, and pray that I find them even on the hard days
