Matthew 23:3 “… For they preach, but do not practice”

-there are people. In this world that do things outwardly to be seen by others but their hearts are far from God

Isaiah 29:13 “and the Lord said: “because this people draw near with their mouths and honor me with their lips, while their hearts are far from me.

Matthew 23:25-28 “… for you clean the outside of the cup and the plate, but the inside, they are full of greed and self-indulgence … first clean the inside of the cup and the plate, that the outside also may be clean … for you are like white washed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are full of dead people’s bones and all uncleanness. So you also outwardly appear righteous to others, but within you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

-what people speak/preach can be very different to the actions they take in their life’s

-People don’t often show their true colors to people their hearts could be filled with greed, anger, hypocrisy, and self-indulgence.

-they might use God’s word, but God isn’t in them

-many people in this world would like to remain how they are with an unclean heart living for themselves and not for God.

-see a problem, solve the problem.
