Spread the word.
Mark 4:3-9 (The Parable of the sower) “Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured it. Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where it did not have much soil, and immediately it sprang up, since it had no root, it withered away. Other seeds fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no gain. And other seeds fell into good soil and produced grains growing up and increasing and yielding thirty fold and sixty fold and a hundredfold.”
-we are the sower / the word is the seed
-for we sow the word of the Lord to all people who can hear.
Mark 4:9 “and he said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
-we should sow the “seed” of God’s word where ever we go, to whom ever have ears to listen, because their might be good soil within each person who hears his word, that might take toot in them.
-Do not get discouraged if it doesn’t take root in all whom hear, because we are still sowing his seed, for in the ground full of rocks there may yet be soil surrounded by the rocks, meaning the person’s who;s heart is ready to grow might just be surrounded by people who aren’t ready.
Mark 4:14-20 “The sower sows the word. And these are the ones among the path, where the word is sown: when they hear, satan immediately comes and takes away the word that was sown in them. And these are the ones sown on rocky ground: the ones who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with joy. And they have no roots in themselves, but endure for a while; then when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the world, immediately they fall away. And others are the ones sown among thorns. They are those who hear the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it proves unfruitful. But those that were sown on good soil are the ones who hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirty fold and sixty fold and a hundredfold.
-each place we spread the word of God cold have multiple different types of people; the path, rocky ground, among thorns, and good soil. We cannot take a group of people at face value, nor should we do so. if we take an entire group or even a single person at face value, and decide that “they aren’t worth out time,” we would be overlooking good soil.
-if we sow everywhere we go, to all those who can listen, we are sowing to all types but we are, “leaving no stone unturned” per say. For no matter the face value:
>Colossians 3:12 “Put on them, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved; compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.”
>Ephesians 4:32 “Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
-if we encountered each person the same way, would you not also sow the word of God the same.
Mark 3:26-28 (The parable of the seed growing) “And he said, “the kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seen on the ground. He sleeps and rises night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows; he knows not how the earth produces by itself..”
-for we as the sower of God’s word will never know how, once the seed has been sown, rooted, he might grow that person into who he sees in them, we might only watch as they grow in God.
-each person we encounter will be different in their own way, each having their own stories, but God knows them fully as he knows us all
>Luke 12:6-7 “not one of them is forgotten before God. Why even the hairs of your head are all numbered..”
>Jeremiah 1:5 “Before i formed you in the womb I knew you.”
-God knows each and every one of us, he knows what to do to grow each of us. We watch the growth that takes shape by God, but we only sow the seed.
